Throughout the month of February our Social Work department will help bring awareness of the dangers of vaping and nicotine on the brain and body.
We'll be providing information to both students and parents about the risks and dangers of vaping through various means. For students, we'll be completing small group and individual talks about the risks of vaping and ways to avoid getting caught up in peer pressure. We'll also help students in finding positive outlets to help avoid vaping and other dangerous substances. For parents, we'll have parent meetings in which we'll cover the dangers of vaping, signs to look out for, and ways to support your child in living a healthy and drug free life.
We're excited to get information, resources, and positive methods into the hands of our community to better understand the dangers of vaping.
