Today our high school math students got to test fly their geometric kite project. To put their algebra and geometric skills to the test students had to formulaically determine the amount of resources required to create each geometric shape, assemble the kites, then see if they did their math correctly and put the kites into the sky. The students did a fantastic job and enjoyed Miss Gomez's final test for them!

National Police Week is observed each May to honor and recognize law enforcement officers across the country for their service and sacrifice. DAEP recognizes and thanks Investigator Valadez, K-9 Officer Liñan and his K-9, Dylan, and Security Officer Martinez, for their commitment, dedication, and daily efforts to help keep our school and community safe. Their efforts make the DAEP a secure and inclusive campus and we're grateful to have all three on our team. Thank you for all your hard work every day!

Ms. Zamarron has been with Donna ISD for 30 years and on the DAEP team for the past 11 years. She has impacted the lives of thousands of students during her time on our team and has never shied away from our mission. Mrs. Cantu has been preparing her students for the upcoming English STAAR exams and she played ZAP! with them to check for understanding and energize her lesson.
